The Olde Bell is an inn where the common spaces are the heartbeat of the property. Parts of it date back to the year 1135, incorporating nooks, crannies and crooked floors, creating a warm traditional feel. The inn is situated ideally for exploring the local Berkshire countryside. In the evening, a delicious three-course meal from the inns seasonal menu will be served. A hearty breakfast is also included with your overnight break.

Whats on the agenda?
Upon arrival at The Crown Inn, you and your guest will be shown to your ‘Main Inn or ‘Malt House Smaller room. These rooms were created by the renowned designer Ilse Crawford, who defined the concept of reinstating the traditional inn. During the evening of your stay, you and your guest will enjoy a three-course meal from The Olde Bells seasonally changing menu. In the morning breakfast will be served. There is much to do in the surrounding area; explore the local countryside by taking long, leisurely walks, or borrow one of the inns Ridgeback Mountain-bikes, with Olde Bell bags to hold your picnic and blankets. You can also enjoy beauty treatments by Flutterby in the comfort of your own room, play a spot of tennis or visit the Kenton Theatre.
