What is involved in this pampering day?
Experience rural living at this 17th Century dark-beamed cottage, furnished to a high degree and located in one of the most picture-perfect areas of Wales. This luxury bed and breakfast is a cosy retreat, you'll stay in one of only three bedrooms, with full access to the communal lounge. Your package includes a delicious home-cooked breakfast in the morning before checkout and the chance to explore the beautiful surrounding area, local attractions and outdoor activities.

Upon arrival you will be shown to your comfortably furnished room, complete with oak beams and antique furniture. Highgate boasts a beautiful oak-beamed dining room and drawing room, both fully accessible to guests. In the morning you will each receive a full breakfast made from locally sourced produce.It is the combination of tranquillity and activity that makes the area around Highgate so special. A short walk can take you past calming rivers and lakes, or to the stunning views from the Cambrian Mountains. The area is not only for the two-footed, as Highgate is more than happy to stable horses and the hotel is situated near many excellent bridleways, and dogs are welcome. The nearby Offas Dyke walking path offers 177 miles of heritage and culture, including castles and cathedrals; although youd be forgiven for not managing it all on your first trip! Finally, Highgate is a one hour drive away from the Snowdonia National Park, containing some of the most stunning landscapes and mountains the UK has to offer. This countryside retreat has the scope to be either an action-packed extravaganza or a relaxing retreat—the choice is up to you.

Your voucher is valid for 10 months. This voucher entitles two people to one nights accommodation with breakfast at the Highgate in Bettws Cedewain, near Newtown in Mid-Wales.
