What is involved in this pampering day?
You'll each be creating some truly tasty dishes after this fantastic eastern-themed cooking course. You'll spend half a day learning to prepare either Thailand's unique, fragrant Green Curry, with delicious side dishes, or a flavoursome Indian feast with mouth-watering Tikka Masala, Jalfrezi and Pilau rice. You'll receive one-to-one tuition from the founder of The Curry Club and famous celebrity chef, Pat Chapman during this private class as you create a tastebud tingling masterpiece, before you take it home and wow your family and friends!
Whats on the agenda?
You'll both select either the Thai or Indian cooking course. Both courses last from 10am to 1pm, and run Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.Upon arrival you'll be greeted with welcoming tea and biscuits, and your instructor Pat Chapman will begin the day by talking about the varied and unique flavours of either India or Thailand.If you've chosen Thai, you'll prepare a Thai Green Curry paste, using pre-chopped, fresh ingredients (supplied for you), and you will use this paste to create a fragrant Khaeng Keo-wan Gai (Thai Green Chicken Curry). You will also prepare a vegetable salad, Tom Sum (Papaya and Long Bean), with Nam Yum (Thai dressing.) To accompany your dish, you'll make Green Vegetables with Carrot Flowers in Oyster Sauce (real oyster sauce, not flavoured) and the classic Pad Thai (Bangkok Street Noodles). Vegetarians will be able to swap the Chicken ingredients for tofu. Please note that this course is not suitable for those will fish or seafood allergies.At the Indian cookery school, you'll be taken through the essential Indian spices, and learn how to mix, roast and grind them to create Garam Masala. You'll then learn how to concoct a traditional spice paste, and use this for a classic dish - the Chicken Tikka Masala. You'll learn how to prepare a lightly spiced curry gravy, and make a fabulous Jalfrezi, along with a Tarka Dall (lentil dish) and Oonbario (roasted root vegetables). Vegetarian options include a Paneer Tikka Masala and Mushroom and Spinach Jalfrezi.You'll both create a feast for 6 people, so bring something to take the food home in!

This voucher is valid for 10 months for two people. Select from Indian or Thai cookery when you redeem your voucher, by contacting The Curry Club directly, with your voucher information to hand. Free parking is available at the venue. The classes are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout the year, subject to availability. Classes start at 10am and finish at approximately 1pm. You don't need to bring any ingredients or equipment, but you may wish to bring containers to take your food away in. Please note that the Thai cookery course is not suitable for those with fish or seafood allergies. All dates are subject to availability.
